Internships or Graduate jobs are also common in fashion and this can be a fantastic way of getting your foot in the door of some of the most competitive parts of the business. You’ll need to be prepared to start at the bottom and work your way up, but this is actually a really good thing as it means you’ll get to know the business inside out and ultimately be much more attractive candidate because of it.

The important thing to remember is that fashion contains lots of aspects. Not everyone can be a top designer or a supermodel, but there are still loads of other career options, from managing boutiques to buying fabric and being a fashion journalist. Whatever path you choose, you’re sure to be in for an exciting time.
